Like most of you, I’d seen Riley Sagers’s Survive the Night popping up all over bookstagram. I don’t think I’ve read a thriller since Girl on the Train but thought I’d mix things up a bit and I’m glad I did!
I will say, there were elements of this book that were repetitive and could have been edited out, as there were points where I thought ‘I know, you literally just said the same thing a page ago!’
But overall, I enjoyed this book, I read it in one sitting and stayed up till 2am because I wanted to know how it finished. I didn’t see any of the twists coming (this could because I’m not used to reading this genre).
I’ve heard that there are other Riley Sager books that are even better than this one so I plan on checking them out too. If anything, picking this one up has made me think about trying out new genres from time to time so it was definitely a worthwhile read for me!
