Baby Sizing Chart

Babies grow more in the first year than any other time in their lives, so it's not surprising that new parents find themselves constantly shopping for new outfits. It can also be tricky, especially if your little one isn't an 'average' size, so please be aware when buying baby clothes (from any retailer) that size charts should be used as a guide - not all 3 month old babies are the same size!

We do our best to ensure you buy the right size, first time so if you have any questions, please get in touch.

About Us

Who are was set up by a creative mummy based in Scotland.

Why did you set up

Long before I was a mummy I was a little girl who had a mum that lovingly sewed clothes for me and my brother.  As I watched my mum make me things I wanted to join in and so from an early age I was taught how to use an old hand turned Singer sewing machine so I could make clothes for my dolls.

After leaving school I spent a year at the London College of Fashion where I learnt a lot more about design, sewing and finishing to a very high standard.  Sparking my creative side, I went on to study for a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery from the University for the Creative Arts where I created original and award winning pieces such as a Britannia Silver condiments set and 24ct gold jewellery using specialist techniques such as granulation and laser welding.  Even then, I still wasn’t quite sure I had finished learning and moved to Scotland to attend the University of Glasgow, where I studied Classics and trained to become a secondary school teacher. I have been teaching in some of Scotland’s top secondary schools since 2010.

Late in 2014 I became a mummy for the first time to a little girl, who I hope will be joined by some brothers and sisters in the near future. This seemed like the perfect time to reconnect with my creative side.  With my own little girl running around I know how difficult it can be to find clothing that is unique and made with the mischief these baby monkeys get up to in mind.

I began by making clothes for my own daughter, and was quickly inundated with requests from fellow mummies, friends and family members who loved the uniqueness and sense of fun in my creations – and so was born.

How should your products be washed?

All cotton items can be washed in a normal 40 degree wash, with care taken to seperate colours. Some items may require special care, for example our waistcoats should be washed at 30 degrees. Please see each items product page for any special instructions.

Can your products be tumble dried?

It is our belief that all fabric will have a longer life if you avoid tumble drying - and ironing a non-tumble dried item is always easier too! can not guarantee your items will not shrink if they are tumble dried.

Why should I choose clothing?

All items are hand finished to a very high standard – I’m a bit of a perfectionist at heart – so you can always be sure you will receive quality, bespoke clothing. All my fabrics are high quality and locally sourced.  I would never produce anything for that I would not buy for my own daughter.

The item I want is out of stock, will it become available again? hand make all items, and sometimes our most popular items will sell out quite quickly. We do endeavour to make sure there is a good range of stock available at all times however.
